huge g7 tracking problem

for those of you who have a logitech g7 mouse, move your mouse to the bottom right SLOWLY, as slightly as you can, probably millimeter by millimeter.

is it awkward for you?

all other directions are ok, just bottom right. It is a bit annoying when you are photoshopping stuff.

the problem is that, when i move the mouse south-east direction, it has this "stairs-effect" moving right, then bottom, then right, then bottom.

it doesn't go diagonally

Actually I think I see what you mean. When I move mine down and to the right VERY slowly, it seems to stutter a lot. It doesn't do it in any other direction. It's not a hair in the sensor and I AM using a mouse pad. Interestingly, my MX1000 does not do it in any direction.

BTW I hate you for pointing out this flaw. Now I have to rethink which mouse I'm going to keep. :frown:
