Huge discrepency between CPU temp reported in BIOS vs. Asus Probe

Just got my Asus A7N8X up and running with an Athlon XP 2400+. Here's my cooling setup - Thermaltake Tornado 7+ heatsink/fan (70mm fan, speed set to medium - 5000 rpm), Arctic Silver II, a Lian Li case with 4 case fans, an Enermax PS with 2 fans. Running everything at stock speeds.

When I go into the BIOS setup screens, the CPU temp is reported at 49 degrees C idle, or ~ 56C if I reboot immediately after loading the CPU. This seems WAY too high. But the Asus Probe utility reports a CPU temp of 32C at idle, or 39C after playing UT3K for a while. That's more like it, but maybe even a little low.

So why the discrepency? And which temperature is closer to reality? Thanks!
