Check out this heatsink of mine. I had a cpu go out at work (PIII 1 ghz) and the guy that brought us a new cpu gave this to me. It is designed to have a shroud that directs air out of the case, the shroud barely comes to the top and sucks air up through the fins.. opposite of most cpu fans. Anyone know if these work well? I have a regular standard golden orb at home, should I put this on instead, and just *rig* a duct, or even mount a fan on top (there are holes for screws) should the fan face out like it is supposed to or go down like most do?
