Well, glitzy jet-turbine design aside, the proof is in the putting.

I'd also like to see some comparison reviews featuring the ThermalTake FANLESS 103.
Here's an observation, though. Since it's manufactured or marketed by ASUS, it would be a guideline as to what they feel is "safe" in terms of weight and torque due to the height of the unit pulling down on the motherboard.
But again -- "How does it cool?" I posted a link to a German geek-mag the other day comparing a Zalman CNPS-7700-Cu, an identically sized clone of the Zalman, and an XP120 using a fan with similar rpm and throughput ranges. They used the same test-bed in every one, took readings at the same room temperature values, and used bar-graphs to display the resulting idle and load temperatures at two different controlled fan speeds applied to each and all of the three units.
Those are the kinds of comparison reviews we'd like to see more of.
