Huey Lewis appeared in my dream.
In my dream I was the victim of a crime and they call me and tell me they caught someone that matches the description. I go on down to the station and they line up the perp and few stand ins. I scan the group and lo and behold. Standing there holding number 3 is Huey Lewis. I blurt out HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS. Yes I said and the news. The cop asks me "Sir is that the man who mugged you" I looked at him like he was a drunkard spouting nonsense, and reply. "Officer that his Huey Lewis of Huey Lewis and the News. That man is Hip to be Square"
He asks. "Who?" So I ask him how old he is and he says 21. So I get my phone out get online go to YouTube and find a video and show it to him.
He then tells me how the man I Identified as Huey Lewis is known in the station as Lewis Huebert. I rolled my eyes. He explained how thy found him homeless and he volunteered to be on police line ups. He even remarked how they noticed certain people would snicker and point and make Hip to be Square jokes. He told me they'd probably have to stop using him now
It turns out Huey Lewis wasn't recognizable enough to book shows, but too recognizable to keep his new job.
