My roommates and I have decided to connect our PC's to form our own network. Right now, we'll just be playing games across the hookup, but we'll eventually be looking at getting a high speed net connection.

With that said, what type of HUB is reccomended? I can't find many reviews, so I'm a litle leary of getting a cheap, unrecognized name HUB.....but if a cheap one will work (there are many listed by pricewatch.com), then i'll go for one. I don't want to go too high, so I guess that will knock out the over priced 3COMs.

Thanks in advance for the assist!

Netgear DS104 10/100 is really nice. Affordable and reliable. Great for small networks.

I'm with b0red, get yourself a switch instead of a hub. Hubs share bandwith, switches don't.
