Hub Brand (Cont.)

that is an "OEM" hub, made in taiwan, rebadged and resold as their own hub by many many companies. Your screwed in trying to get an RMA for it unless you have where it was originally bought from.

Nope, I saw your other post and checked out the SOHOware link, but couldn't find anything that looked like your hub. If you're willing to take it apart, it should have an FCC ID number in there, you can identify the manufacturer from that. To make links in your posts just click the "http" button, and put in the URL and what you want it say. Makes it much easier to check them out then. Where did you get it?

well i bought it at a store that i nolong live in the city that the store is in.
would it help if i took a pic of the box and posted it?
I have no problem taking it apart as long as it doesn't void the waranty or something because the whole purpose of doing this is to send it back because port 4 doesn't work.

thanks
david

If you bought it more then a year ago, the odds of it even being under warranty are just about nil.

thats a very good point
but DLink has lifetime warantys on all their products, so depending on which brand it is, it might also 🙂
