hehe...I do what I can to make this a competition for myself, aside from going after BBR and HP. If I can find something that amuses me with it, then I stick with it that way. As soon as I stop finding fun in the competition, I'll stop crunching, and I don't wanna do that

I think you and I per day are doing to end up doing about the same. We'll see what the Dual Xeon produces in the next couple days and see if it has any major effects on my production (I know the change from 3.08 to 3.03 has helped a bit).

Hi all

I host a bunch of various totally interesting things and run a scsi RAID system with a multi processor intel server.

Sometimes everything doesn't go as smooth as we would all like, today the RAID software is telling me it is having trouble staying in contact with "scsiport0".

I'm trying to figure it all out, last time I tried a reboot the system locked & I had to drive down there to press the reset button (much less expensive if I press it myself).
So I am proceeding carefully this time, I'm not sure what is causing it to lock up yet and I don't want to cause it again.

We understand, Wiz. Totally understandable. We appreciate the site you provide, and understand some downtime is expected. It's more of a heads up if something happens to go wrong that you might not be aware of that we throw a thread up like now (that, and I totally dig your stats..not to discount soni's, though. )
