The javascript popups prompting for the URL and link text appear, but the link isn't inserted into the message afterwards.

This is in firefox, haven't tried IE.

Is there a reason why the top right buttons are not in plain HTML?

It's annoying everytime I try to middleclick it in Firefox to open the link in a new tab and nothing happens.

This has to be a firefox version issue, as some of you using firefox it works, some it does not. When posting issues, please post the EXACT build of firefox you are using so we can try and replicate it. Without that we are dead in the water.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2

Having the same problem with http link and also the icons
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

😱

Works on home and work systems.

Home: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

Work: Same

Is it maybe a settings/options issue? Maybe Java/Javascript?
