HTT question on Athlon64 Venice core

All:

I have a low voltage Athlon 64 3000+ socket 754 (Venice, E6). It runs stock at 1.2v @ 2.0 Ghz (200x10). I've got it running Prime95 rock solid @ 1.32v, 2.4Ghz (240x10) with HTT at 3 x 240 for 1440Mhz HTT. Is my HTT fast enough for a 2.4Ghz chip or is it choking my performance? If I bump the HTT multiplier to 4x I get 1,920Mhz HTT. Would this be too high for this chip???

Thanks,

Nodnarb

try setting it for 267x10 and the HTT x3, you should hit 2.66ghz and have the HTT at the stock 1600mhz...you will probably need to have your Vcore set at 1.35v or 1.4v, and you should be able to get a memory ratio (X1.5) that should let you run your memory at a stock DDR400 speeds.

Thanks, but 2.4 is plenty of power for me out of a $50 chip. I want rock solid, not a super high overclock.
