HTPC + XBMC w/ Aeon Showmix + XBox 360 Remote Control = Possible?

Will the XBox 360 Remote Control work with an HTPC that has XBMC installed on it? Also, for the IR receiver, will any receiver do or do I have to get one that specifically works with the XBox 360 Remote Control?

I dunno. I'd think (this is a guess! I only posted because I felt bad for your zero reply thread! Do not take this as gospel!) event ghost would let you use any remote to control anything and would receive signals from any IR receiver, but it might take some fiddling.
