Thought I would share my unique build.

A HTPC case with a i5-2500k @ 4.7 GHz with 2 x 7970's @ 1050/1375.

3DMARK 11 Score: P13760 , GPU Score 17687
http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3894912

I wanted to mount the video cards the other way but the Fan slot hits the triple slot DCII 7970, so forced to go this way.

Everything is running nice and cool. The huge Notua fits by 1-2mm at most, and keep this at 4.7 in the 60's at 100% Load

The GPU's have not reached over 64 Degrees gaming with 45% fan set.

Computer is in an air conditioned room

Had to remove drive bay for video cards to fit. (Nmedia's site says 6000 can handle 11.5 " GPU's well they are full of it, more like 8.5 when the hard drive bay.

Forced to sit the hard drive flats. PC never moves so should be fine.

Unique HTPC with a lot of GPU Power! (See full specs in sig)

Nice,

I used the Silverstone SG08 MiniITX chassis myself with a 600W PSU. 3570K+GTX680.

Super quiet, very small. Big cases is so last decade :D

For HTPC tho I use a Silverstone SG05B MiniITX with a 300W PSU mixed with a DH57JG board and an i5-661.

Where are your HDDs?

Edit: Nevermind. They must be hidden on the side. Wouldn't it cause vibration?

Nice rig, a full CF setup as an HTPC is nuts. :)

Here's mine, recently bolted together with this new PCS+ 7950:

Case is SUGO5, with a 450W psu. Look at the size of the thing.

My 2 months old 7850 is an easy fit.

This one here isn't.

The card is only 265mm long, not 275mm as per the website info. Fits without modding case.

1mm room to spare!

WD HDD taped on the bottom of the PSU, 2mm to spare.

Stock GPU run, 880/1250. Fan not audible.

OC GPU run, 1100/1300. Fan slightly audible, not louder than the Antec cooler exhaust (which is quiet).

I can't go higher than 1.1ghz on the core, because the vcore is at 1.087v, if i up the vcore higher to 1.1v, my PSU powers down the 12V rails. o_O If i leave it at 1.087v and try to run at 1.15ghz the card would reset in 3D and crashes to desktop stable.

Edit: wrong pic for OC results. it's a 25% OC from 880. havent bothered testing ram OCs

Edit2: 1.125ghz.

Edit3: 1.2ghz on core, but had to downclock CPU OC to not suck my 450W PSU dry...

Edit4: Modded case with antec exhaust from top for more quiet n cool OC running.

Unfortunately I lost out on my "Man Room" due to my wife expecting.

I game 90% of the time on my 1080p TV anyways, so I figured Ill just build a high powered HTPC box and give up the bedroom.

No more monitor.

I've literally cleaned out my house of PC Parts and stuff.

I have the HTPC and the laptop now. Nothing more, and Im still happy.

Yah my PC room is the extra bed room if my wife has another baby it would have to move...

It is great to have a full finished basement :D

Well after some tweaking, and lowering the voltage on my CPU and turbo down to 4.3ghz, I managed to squeeze 1.2ghz and 1500mhz vram on the PCS+ 7950 @ 1.145 vcore. Good fun with tweaking!

Sold the 2nd 7970 on ebay. (Kept the Asus as clocks better and runs cool when on its own, in CF, not so much)

My HTPC is a Pentium G620T with HD6450.
The second HTPC (different TV) will be a Celeron G530, possibly with a videocard eventually if required. And an mATX mobo with 8 SATA ports for a Bluray drive, OS drive and then up to 6 HDDs for networked storage.
