HTPC USB device over current

I purchased the Zalman HD135 Case, and i am trying to connect it to an
Asus M2NPV-MV motherboard with an AMD AM2 X2 3800+ cpu. When i hook the VFD up to the motherboards USB 5volt header, i get an error saying that a "USB device over current detected. Please remove over-current USB device."

I have changes the bios revisions, and it works fine if the VFD is not hooked up, so i have ruled out the motherboard or any other components. Has anyone seen this issue before, and what do you suggest?

Thanks,
Levi
