htpc remote control thread??

hi! i was thinking we might like a thread dedicated to pc remotes, a somewhat tricky issue, especially for DIY'ers. since this is where members are turning for htpc-related things, i thought A/V&HT was more relevant than Peripherals.

is there much interest in this? do you have some knowledge to contribute? do you know of an existing thread/forum/website that handles this well?
