Setting up a HTPC....read lots of good things about the Logitech diNova mini except for the mouse functionality on the keypad appears to be questionable....I already own a Logitech MX Air, as a second mouse, do you think I should/could use the MX Air in conjunction with the diNova mini to compensate? ...any other suggestions are greatly appreciated....thanks in advance !

Have you considered one of the HTPC keyboards with a touchpad? You could use it and/or the mouse at the same time.

Any and all product suggestions are welcomed for sure...thanks...I am pretty set on having backlighting as one of my main options though....
I know that narrows the list a lot for sure.

I looked at some PS3 keyboards that were really nice. I ended up going with just a standard Rosewell wireless keyboard/mouse that I have been very happy with.

BTW: I thought an air mouse would be really cool, but I ended up ditching it after a couple of days, it was really annoying to use.

I've had not problems with the touchpad on my Dinovo Mini. I do about as well on that as I do on the touchpad on a laptop. However, if you want better control, then get something with a trackball like what wiretap mentioned or this Adesso that's received praise on avsforum.
