Well I built my HTPC and never even considered having a problem getting the proper display resolution to my 42" Panny plasma. Now I know better.. I've been struggling way too long just trying to get my resolution right, I haven't even been able to start on the real stuff. I've decided to break down and ask the pros for help.
TV:
TH-42px60u
HTPC:
MSI K9AGM2-FIH 690G x1250
The native resolution of this panel is 1024 x 768 but that makes everything stretched. Right now I'm using 1280 x 720 which is the best I've found, but I have underscan and it just doesn't look crisp enough for me. I expected and want this to look good! I've searched everywhere and just can't find the answers. Can anyone here provide me the advice I need to get this looking the best it can? I really appreciate any help.
