I have already tners and everything.

I need a video card that will produce great images, and with dedicated hardware function to free my cpu -p4 3.2 to other uses.

I have a geforec 6800 AGP I bought 1 1/2 year ago but it doesn't seem to help the MCE.

Anyways, suggestions please

6800NU should be a perfectly good card to run in an HTPC. if you want better video quality, though, wait for the X1900GT. shouldn't be too expensive, and does have Avivo. also not such a bad card in its own right.

I've got a 6200 in my HTPC and a 6800GT (unlocked GS) on my desktop and I don't notice a difference between the two when using any PVR software.

You'd probably be better off getting a dual core CPU if you feel your processor is being taxed.
