HTPC considerations

So far I've got this stuff, and I'm probably gonna get a small SATA drive to act as the OS drive. SSD stuff is tempting but I think I'll just save a bunch of money. People reviewing the case seem to think it's pretty quiet.

Random DVD burner, plus another 250gb SATA when it gets RMA'd, plus my other 750gb of storage networked to it. Hooked up via DVI-HDMI and Toslink optical to my receiver.

Is there anything here I should re-think? I basically just want to be able to play compressed HD content (h264 and the like), not backup my 50gb Blu-Rays (thus no $200 BR drive) and play them back as lossless files, so I think that C2D cpu should have enough horsepower.
