I know nothing about HTPC's and looking at WMC's webpage it boasts plenty of features etc but not the most important thing, how do i control the fking thing from halfway across the room 
So anyways i have some questions...
1. How do i control a HTPC from sofa/bed etc? Can i use a wired xbox controller?
2. What software do i need?
3. Anything else i should know?
The home server sits next to the TV now so im trying to ditch the xbox 360 + tversity middle man here and just hook the server up to the TV directly via HDMI. Specs of it are in my sig, should be adequate for anything i throw at it hopefully.
