my isp home page is causing avira to set off a warning of a script virus, since its the free version i cant seem to find a way to notify them, is there a link i am missing somewhere ?

If Avira already detects the compromised website, then it shouldn't be necessary to notify Avira, but they do have a malware-submission portal at http://analysis.avira.com/samples where you could upload a copy of the page's HTML.

Or are you saying that you think it's a false positive (the site has not been compromised)? If that's the case, the malware-submission portal also allows reporting suspected false-positives.

i only got the warning when opening ie7 home page [my home page] , i've scanned my pc with avira and have not found any problems, they replyied this mornin that they could'nt find any problems with the page, it seamed to be from a flash ad about overstock.com, i rechecked again and no warnings, the flash ad is gone also.

Avira quarantined files located in content ie5 which i deleted, rescanned with avira, superantispyware & cleaned up with CC, went back to the page and no warnings, i did update vista, adobe flash player and java just to be sure, pc does'nt act up so hopefully all is well.

thanks mechBgon.
