html preview in outlook 2000?

Tools>Current View>Messages with AutoPreview
is as good as it gets.

You should NOT enable this though... that is a VERY good way for viruses to enter, as scripts are run when you click on the message (preview) instead of double clicking on it (opening it).

Also make sure Outlook is set to run HTML in the restricted Internet zone.

I agree. I'd suggest screening your emails manually (by reading the subject and the sender) prior to opening it. I never use AutoPreview.
