HTML guys - need a counter that stores hit count in a file

Wheres a good web hit counter that doesn't display anything on the webpage, but stores current hit count in a file on the server?

you can just cheat and smoosh any graphical counter into a 1x1 pixel so its nearly impossible to click or find.
