How can I have a web page that if I change one single source file, all the pages would change to reflect it?

example the links, that list page numbers.

There has to be a way that if I add 1 more link, I don't have to edit every other page.

Thanks everyone!

If your webhost allows SSI(Server Side Includes), you could use <!-- #include <whatever.html> --> to include one file in all your files..

You could also use PHP to do the same thing, you could also use JavaScript, but SSI is the simplest..Regards

ok, that's a start. Looks like I need to get off my free web space now.

But I don't think that's how they do it. If you can could you look in thier source, I didn't see anyhthing resembeling what you mentioned.

That's because if you use SSI it doesn't show up in the source -- it inserts whatever you're inserting into the source.

If you do work with Dreamweaver 3/4ultra you create a template page + assets, and every time you change something it will update all pages using that template/asset.
