You can either tell her to RTFM or download the manual and read for yourself. Find out what it takes to connect via WiFi.

Most USB ports on machines like this are for playback of pictures / music and sometimes video. (I.e. not a wireless card). However, if it doesn't have built in wireless, you can use a wireless bridge through it's LAN port to make it wireless.
