I just had a great experience with HTC's support.

I tripped on the curb, and dropped my One m8 face-down onto concrete, cracking the screen. I contacted HTC's support to find a local certified repair shop, and the support rep was like "This is actually covered under the standard 1-year warranty". I was extremely pleasantly surprised. In my area it is ~100 USD for the glass screen if you want to try to DIY, and ~150 USD to have a repair shop do it.

That was really cool of them.

It's certainly possible they didn't differentiate between the screen replacement warranty and other warranty correctly, but yeah, it's great, and I literally turned that frown upside down.

(and yes, it's awesome)

UH OH Protection is limited to one device replacement at no charge for qualified HTC devices within the first 12 months after purchase with proof of purchase OR $100 credit towards purchase of a new HTC One M9 or later model.
