The Evan Blass "leak" really makes me want to start believing, given his track record...if it's true, I'll be very glad I'm waiting until March.

After repeatedly bashing my HTC One (M7) into my E-brake handle one day after a frustrating experience and shattering it to pieces... as much as I love HTC's design... I will probably never purchase a device from them again.

Don't you think that's more the fault of you and your e-brake than HTC?

Haha! I must admit, I lost my temper.

I had the phone for approximately 1.5 years or so from new. The front bottom speaker stopped working, the top speaker was near dead. The camera was absolutely impossible to use. HTC's Sense was utter shit. The Micro-usb port became extremely loose fitting and I found many mornings waking up to a dead phone thanks to the cable falling out. Lots of issues with "No Sim Detected", the battery life wasn't very impressive. The headphone jack became flaky. I'm sure there were other issues. Just fyi, this phone was cased and dropped only a couple of times. No issues ever arose right after any of the falls.

I eventually had enough the other night when It decided to report 20% battery life. So as I was writing a fairly important text message, it decided it actually had 0% and died. This is the night it met it's death to the emergency brake handle of my car.

Don't know about you, but my M8 survived multiple drops while running into dirt/gravel, no problems at all (with UAC case)

My hopes went WAY up when evleaks revealed what he did. And think, he came out of retirement (lol) to post that news, he must feel extremely confident about it.

Are you on Sprint? I have had the stupid no-sim problem with my Sprint M7.

Also the USB connector is loose on the phone too.

I can hotlink one image but you should really see the whole collection. HTC listened to criticism and almost all design deficiencies are gone, and it looks SEXY. The curvage (my pet peeve of HTC phones) looks to be reduced to minimum.

I bet $100 Apple will copy this and color the ugly white plastic strips on the back for the iPhone 6S. Gold, perhaps..

This or OnePlus Two or S6 or G4...

Yay. That's the joy of Android. Choices galore.

Edit: PocketNow images are hotlink-able. (but PhoneArena has more images)

I can't believe they didn't center the USB charging port! Is there a reason for that, maybe M7/M8 users can explain? Not a big deal but why stop at 98% when you can get 100% right..

those latest renders look really nice, thing I didn't like about the M8 was the wasted space for those pointless speakers
