In the rapidly developing market for Android enabled mobile phones or devices, droidBooster provides a unique way for Android device manufacturers to maximize the performance of their android device, to minimize their platform cost and to differentiate on this growing market.

DroidBooster technology enables to compile any Android Java code in optimized native binary when generating the ROM, taking full power of the underlying CPU for high performance and low power execution.

The performance reached with droidBooster is far from any existing Android virtual machine or Android JIT compilers. The impact on the autonomy of the device is huge. Flexible product, droidBooster can selectively be applied on embedded Android services or applications, and also on Dalvik APIs.

I saw this in a thread over at the CM forums, watched the video and had to do a double take. Not sure exactly what programming/compiling voodoo they've managed to work here, but watching the HTC Magic perform at the same level as the Nexus One was damn impressive.

They claim that battery life is identical/not impacted, but I'm thinking there hasn't been wide scale testing down yet.

When can I see it on other phones, if it accelerates the low end phones 10x, what will do it to a high end phone?
