HTC EVO 4G on PagePlus

I'm thinking about getting an EVO 4G from someone here on AT, and I was wondering if it is possible to flash it over to PP/Verizon.
If it is possible, what do I need to do?

Furthermore, I have no experience with Android or flashing phones over to different carriers, but I do have general softmodding experience with PSPs and original Xboxes. So the concept of flashing isn't entirely foreign to me.

Okay, It looks very involved and it seems that everyone over there already knows what they're talking about.
Is there a step-by-step guide available?

EDIT:

I put an Evo on PagePlus for voice and text. It was very straight forward:
- Put the Page Plus PRL for Sprint phones in the root of the SD card.
- Then type ##PRL#, enter the MSL and load the PRL.
- Next type ##<your MSL># and edit the phone number and MIN, save the changes, restart the phone and you're done.

Voice and text work, the voice mail indicator doesn't, workaround is to use Google Voice for voice mail so you get a text when someone leaves a VM.

I'm not interested in data at PP prices but it sounds like insanecain can help you with that.

Is this sound advice? If so, how do I get the MSL from the phone?
