I currently have Alltel w/ a Blackberry Tour, but live in an area AT&T has aquired and will be swiching over on Nov. 1st. They have given me an option of 3 phones to replace my current Tour w/o requireing any changes to my account. The first one is a BB Curve 3g which is too much of a downgrade for me, plus, with the exception of BBM, I have absolutly no interest in RIM anymore, I will find a replacement option for BBM. My other choices as listed above are the Aria and Pre Plus. I have to say I'm impressed with the reviews on the Aria, but I'm a little worried about having such a small screen and no physical keyboard. I like WebOS, but after hearing the nightmare stories about Palm's recent build quality, I'm a little scarred going with the Pre Plus. I would only be using the phone for about 8 months until my current contract ends, at which time I will get something better. Usage would be 80% data (streaming radio, email, sms and IM) with about 20% phone. I am on call 4-6 nights per week, so signal strength/quality are important. My previous HTC WM phones were horrible phones, so I worry about the Aria, and I havent heard anything good about the Pre's hardware at all. Given the limited choices, which one is the better option in your opinion?
