Does anyone know anything about it? I wanted to look into getting an LCD that could replace my SONY HMDA400. And I noticed that one of the best LCDs I've read about, Hercules Prophetview, uses Hydis' panel (But even it is not adequate; no current LCD is). I then looked into Hydis, and as far as I could tell the next offering from BOEHydis is the HT17E3. But I've not noticed any LCD Manufacturer employing the HT17E3 panel, yet. Does anyone know any better?
I'm a gamer, and I specially enjoy playing Quake 3 Arena, and that's a fast paced game. Q3 really shows ghosting, motion blurr, and lack of texture detail on any LCD you try to play it on. But I don't know if it's possible to play Q3A on an LCD ever, since it's got to be played at 125FPS (or if possible 333FPS). I was wondering if perhaps this panel may be able to give me what I want or if the LCD to play games without ghosting, blurring, or dithering is further away than that.
Thanks for any thoughts, comments, and Links.
