I built a new s754 computer. All parts are new except the CPU.
I get a lousy 2152 3DMark06 score which less than half of what I should be getting. CPU score is actually in line with other peoples' scores, so I think it is either the card, or something with the PCIe settings. There is one that seems a prime candidate for bumping up - NB-SB HT width is set to 8-8, instead 16-16. I tried changing it, but then the PC will not POST.
Any ideas? Could my performance problems be related to that setting? Anything else that could be affecting this?
Biostar TForce6100-754
Clawhammer c0 @ 2GHz
1x1GB DDR400 (Patriot with Micron chips) @ 3-3-3-8
GF6800GS 450/1050MHz (PCIe of course)
