HT prob! Speakers pop, receiver shuts down after rearranging!!

I guess I'll ask here too, since I'll probably get a faster response...but who knows if it'll be correct. 🙂 As you know, I'm pretty into HT, and I was just rearranging my basement into a better configuration...I moved the sub, so I had to disconnect it. Now I reconnected it, and there was a hum, so I tried the original power outlet...and now after hooking it up to the receiver, I turn it on, and my speakers POP! and the whole thing shuts off!!

Someone help, this is scaring the crap out of me, I don't want to touch it until I know what the problem is...I don't know what it could be, everything is the same as it was!?
