I have a 3700+ San Diego, I ran CPUZ to check out how things were running (going to OC)
I haven't done much of anything in the BIOS yet, it's showing my speeds as this
Core Speed: 2212.9 MHz
Multiplier: x 11.0
Bus Speed: 201.2 MHz
HT Link: 402 MHz
now somebody I kind of know has a very similar setup, he also hasn't changed much in the BIOS, nothing concerning the speeds I don't believe. His CPUZ shows the same for the first three, but his HT Link is coming up at 1000 MHz.
I googled a bit and what I read basically sounded like more opinion then knowledge based. The few graphs I saw were nice and all, but synthetic tests don't tell me much about real world performance. Basically I want to know what kind of difference I would notice if I had my HT Link running at 1000, or if it's even worth messing with.
