I bought a Hsu Research Ventriloquist VT-12 for just $129.99 at compUSA (Dallas)!!!
By itself it costs $299.99 on hsu website, but you can take $100 off if you buy it along with a sub woofer.

damn. Just bought this setup myself for $199 at compusa two months ago.

Very nice, compact setup though. Highly recommended for those which space considerations from avsforums.com, etc. Just add a sub and have a nice 6.1 setup.

Not to threadjack but I also saw a thread on avsforums that Compusa was selling off their HSU STF-2 sub for 199. If your local comp has both the vt-12 and STF-2 at these prices, jump on it. The sub sells for $399 and is very well rated. Quite a 6.1 setup for under 350. YMMV

Unfortunately, they don't have the sub woofer in stock. Since its not listed on their website, the sales guy could not even check to see if they were available elsewhere. But i'll visit some other compUSA locations today and check on the sub woofer.

compUSA does not have this listed on their website. You have to just call up their store to check if they have it in stock.

I called the dallas locations, and they are all out of the subwoofer :-(((

If any of you find it stocked elsewhere , please let me know!
