Its been a while since I had assembled the rig and dont remember the HSF that came with the CPU(retail ) has a copper core or is it alimunium ..... dont wanna take the Rig appart ..... the reason I ask is that the temps are above normal ...... 48 C idle 56C to 60C load .... have good air flow and did use the thermal pad

the retail 2500 fan is an alluminum HS with a copper base. my load CPU temps are 55ish. but i have mine running at 3200+ levels and running an SLK800 with artic silver 5 with a 120mm fan near it and a 80 mm fan on top.
 
time to update the HSF with AC ..... the mobo doesnot have any holes to install any after market HSF ..... what would be the best choice for the clip mechanisim???
 
Yeah, I have one. Any 80mm or 92mm fan will fit it, without modification, even the 38mm tall fans like my Tornado.
