HSF review with Palominos

Hey, since a lot of places (like Anandtech for example) have the new Athlons with the internal thermal diodes, why doesn't someone do a heatsink review with them??

Because they only have the Athlon4 in notebook computers right now. AMD hasn't released the Athlon4 in desktop format yet so no reviews can be done until that happens. We'll probably have to wait until July before we see any HSF reviews for the Athlon4. But since it runs cooler than the T-Bird we don't need any too badly.

It isn't that much cooler. 1.2ghz is still 55+ watts, its a drop versus the old t-bird of 15-17% in heat.

What do you mean they only have the Athlon 4 mobiles? They have the Athlon MP's which they are running on the Thunder K7.
