HSF in Sonata II Case w/ Epox 8NPA+ Ultra

Hey, I was just trying to decide between these two heatsinks. I'll buy a 120mm fan, too (but that's a different discussion).

These are my top two choices right now. Silence is important to me -- hence the choice of heatsinks that support a 120mm fan. I'll be overclocking a 3200+ Venice. There's also an eVGA 7800GT and 2x(1GB) DDR in the box. I've heard that people find they often have to remove the "ducting" from the Sonata II to give themselves room for the HSF. That seems to kind of defeat the purpose of the design... will that be required for either of these?

The Scythe Ninja is 110x110x150 (very tall), whereas the Thermalright XP-120 is 110x125x63. But, then -- I guess the fan goes on the top of the XP-120 and on the side of the Ninja. Do you think they'll fit? Will they cause any problems with hanging over the RAM slots or anything on the 8NPA+?

Thanks!

-edit-

They're both ~$50 and both seem to have similar reviews otherwise. So, it essentially all comes down to "fit".

I'm running the sonata II with a thermalright and a 120mm fan on top of it.

It will be tight but it will fit.

some people swear by the duct...while otheres say its useless...
With that said I did get a super good deal on car insurance from GEICO!!!
