HSF for the KT7 northbridge chipet

Can someone shed some light on how to remove the HSF from the Norhtbridge chipset? I want to apply some thermal paste between the interface. I understand that ABIT didn't put in any.

abit does puts a little dab of white stuff in the middle...but you can remove the hsf by squeezing the two plastic clips that holds the hsf on the underside of MB, i put some artic silver on mine...dunno if it really helped any...

Liquidity: It gets pretty hot, I couldn't use fsb of more then 103mhz, then I added some thermal paste I got up to 105, then I put a socket 7 heat sink fan and now i'm at 113mhz.
