Thinking in getting coolermaster jet 4, and change stock blower with tt one. Is it better than zalman 7000?

It cools quite well, but it also makes just about the same amount of noise as a jet engine.

Zalman 7000 is much quieter than the Coolermaster, even with it's adjustable fan turned up to full speed.

Zalman 7000 cools great too, even at lower fan speeds. I know nothing about the performance of the Coolermaster though, so I can't compare the two that way.

I have the same motherboard and was looking at this exact same heatsink. According to this chart the P4P800 should be fine. If anyone can comment on how tight of a fit it is that would be great.

I think the sound on this board is comparable and just as good as it was on my NForce 2 board I had. I highly recommend it.

Oops, double post. Anyway, I use a p4p800 w/ 2.8 and I love it. I also have a Zalman al/cu on mine and was worried about it fitting but it fits extremely well. I used some silver thermal paste with it as I had done with the original heatsink that came with the chip. I also slapped a small fan on the heatsink covering the motherboard chipset . I have overclocked my board to 944 front side bus I believe (236 in the bios) and the chip is running at 3.3 ghz. I am going to keep pushing it up and watching the temps over time but I like to move pretty slowly. Also have to keep running memtest on the memory as I go. I would recommend the combo.

I assume the Zalman will work on an IS/IC/AI7 as well since it isn't listed on their compatibility chart which means it'll fit?
Should one go with the "Ultra Quiet" edition of this heatsink?

Zalman 7000 fits on my IS7 just fine.

The Zalman is very large, but donw low it isn't very big, so it fits on lots of mothertboards that you wouldn't expect it to fit on.
