How much of an overclock? I know with the 2.6c, when you o/c to 3.25GHz, the stock HSF is fine, but I dont know about the 2.8c.

Then I really think you should just buy a 2.6C, and o/c to 3.25GHz. I have read multiple times that this can be done with the stock CPU voltage, stock HSF, but I'm not sure about memory timings/voltage/ratios. I think the FSB needs to be in the ~250 range (but please double check this because its late and im tired lol). The 2.6c is the best o/cer for the money right now ($175 retail box at newegg). I am about to upgrade also, and I have already done alot of research. I will be buying the Abit IC7 (I was going to get the IS7, but the IC7 has the 875 chipset, which has a performance edge over the 865 (IS7's chipset), and the 875 is better for oc'ing, so ive heard), and Buffalo PC3200 512MB ram. So good luck with your build!
