I'm getting worried...my stock HSF fan is grinding pretty badly out of no where ! . I'm not sure whether to do, time to get a 3rd party HSF? What would you fella's would recommend in my situation?

Is there a good technique to remove a stock A64 HSF?

Just to make sure, it's not a fan wire that is grinding against the blade, is it? It's happened to me, and I felt pretty stupid once I figured out the culprit.

Aren't you running an overclocked Sempron64? A Freezer64 Pro is cheap and works great on the cool running Semprons. It kept my Sempron 3100+ (2.6Ghz with 1.55v) at 46C at full load.

The fan seems to run okay right now, I check the wires of course :p. But I did notice if I press my weight on the desk (for no obvious reason) things vibrate, especially at the HSF area. And I know ever screw and brass offs are secured. I'm puzzled because it's in the centurion 5 case.

I'm using a non 64 sempron "paris". It's clocked @ 2.069 Ghz with stock HSF. It loads at 50 C max.
