Hi guys,
I'm currently building a box with kaveri, which will be a HTPC and a NAS.
HTPC part will be windows 7, while NAS part will be linux. I'm going to install a hypervisor (need to find out whether vshpere or xenserver works best) and run the 2 OSes virtualized, with the IGP being passed through to win7, so that I can get next-to-native performance there for little gaming.
My question is, with future HSA-capable software, would I be able to get the benefit of having HSA hardware when the OS is virtualized? It still has direct access to CPU and GPU, but I have no idea if this would be enough.
Any ideas?
Cheers
