My video's stock cooling fan is about to die and I want to buy a HR-03 RevA to replace it. I've read some reviews and it seems to be very big. Before I make my purchase, I wanted to make sure with you that my system is fine to use it (space related, that is).
My System:
Antec P180B Case
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Rev 1.0
Intel C2D E6400
Ultra 120 Extreme HS with a Scythe SFF21F fan
ATi Radeon X1900 XTX PCI-E
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS (installed in the second or third PCI slot)
I also want to know if I will be able to controll the speed of the fan with ATiTool? I usually set the fan speed at 30% in Windows and 100% when the GPU needs to do it's homework.
