HR-03 Plus

Today I finished Installing a shiny new HR-03 Plus on my MSI 8800GTX. The installation was very simple and the included instructions were simple and easy to follow (props to Thermalright). The only problem I could see with the design was that the included ram sinks have a fairly weak layer of thermal tape on them which lead to one falling off when I was installing it into the PCI-E Slot, no matter, I stuck it back on and seems good now. Here are my OC results:

Before- Stock cooling fan @ 100%
Core: 640mhz
Memory: 1050mhz

After- HR-03 Plus + Sythe 92mm @ 100% (2500rpm?)
Core: 684mhz
Memory: 1050mhz

I am amazed at the gains in core frequency, 42mhz which IMO was surely worth it! As for the memory, any higher than 1050 and I get errors in 3Dmark 06, I guess this is the limit for these chips.

Temperature

Before:
Load 76degrees

After:
Load: 51degrees

Temperatures were taken after 1hr of playing UT 2k4 and were logged with Rivatuner- these were the maximum temperatures recorded throughout the duration.

Just my 2c....I am very pleased with my purchase and would like to hear results any other AT'ers have had with the Thermalright HR-03 PLUS.

EDIT: I should also mention that with 684mhz the Shader clock is now 1620mhz 😀

Pics?

You knew it was coming.

Nice gains, but how about real 3d intensive apps? ut2004 isnt really own for being graphically intensive.
