I have a mirror raid set up. I am trying to reformat my disks and resinstall everything new. I hit F6 to install my raid drivers during the Windows set up and put the floppy in. The windows drivers come up, I select them, and then get the following message every time:

File \2k\HPT3xxNT.sys caused an unexpected error (4096) at line 1211 in D:\in\private\ntos\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.

Press any key to continue

Then I just get back to beginning again. I have used different floppies and redownloaded the drivers but continue to get the error.

Make sure the BIOS, Driver, and RAID Administrator (GUI) software revisions match - we do not recommend installing different combinations of BIOS/Driver/Software revisions.

The driver downloads for revisions 2.3 and above include driver support for all versions of Windows, as well as the BIOS update and load utility.

The BIOS updates posted on this site are only suitable for use with PCI card Host Adapters, not motherboard/HPT3xx chipset combinations. Please visit the motherboard manufacturer's website for the proper download.
you might want to peruse your driver floppy(or whatever..) and make sure(might be a little late ..never know tho..) there are no BIOS updates/files on it..as well as determine which driver set you need as there are a number listed at the link below..gl :)
