These little remotes are pretty cool. They come in handy when you have a laptop, an external monitor, and external keyboards. You just press the power button and the computer wakes up. That way, you never have to touch the laptop. I know they're meant for Media Center but what else can you do with them?
 
Pretty much Media Center is the only thing it functions on that I've found it. I certainly love mine. It worked well when I was with the girlfriend and had my playlist of slow music going 😉
 
++ Bro, i use my laptop as an HTPC at home (docked to my tv and stereo.). Rack a playlist up in WMP, and close the lid. Use the remote and you're flipping through your music playlist like you would tracks on a disc. SOOOO glad i got a laptop with it.
