HPM (High Powered Microwave) weapons to be deployed in Gulf War 2?

WOAH. I read a book years ago about microwave satilites (SP) being used by Russia and the US.
I wish I could remember the name of the book or the author. It was a good read.

Sometimes I think that ANYTHING the SciFi writers mind can dream up, will someday be a reality.....

Scary

Cool, but I still want to see the version of this that when it flies over troops and discharges it makes them piss their pants and forget who they are for 30 minutes.

I find it very hard to believe that something that does this kind of damage to electronics is only dangerous to a human if he's using a pacemaker.

Well considering the the patriot missle systems was an anti-aircraft battery and not an anti missile battery.

The current Patriot-3 are designed to do both.
