If it mattered with 3/4-series+ICH, it will matter now. If it didn't matter then, it won't now, either. It's entirely dependent upon software that works better or worse with it on or off.So does HPET still matter for Z87?
How so, and what for? You seem to expect us to know some contextual information about your usage/issues with HPET, and we don't have that. FI, it's been universally great, on Linux, to get precise results for A/V recording and DBMS query profiling.I thought they might have changed the implementation or revised it since X58 or ICH9 ICH10
