im using a hp 930c printer and the ink catridge light on the printer is flashing. when i opened up the printer, the yellow arrow indicator points to something wrong with the black ink cartridge. i tried reseating the catridge in the printer and its still flashing. so i ran the hp software and it tells me my black ink catridge is at 20%.

does that mean im suppose to throw it away and get a new one?

sorry if that sounded like an inane question, i thought i would be using the catridge till there's 0% left!

can someone gimme some advice pls? thanx

Taken from HP Support page:

When either the black or color cartridge begins to run low on ink, a message will be displayed on the monitor.

This Low Ink Warning will appear on the screen prior to starting a print job.
One of 2 different screens will appear, depending on which cartridge is low on ink. It will read as follows:
Black Print Cartridge Low on ink.
The black print cartridge in your printer is low on ink.
Consider having a replacement cartridge available.
The screen also provides, on the left side, a visual indication of ink level.
The middle of the screen provides a box labeled Ordering Information.
Clicking this box activates a link to cartridge ordering information.
The screen has 2 other boxes: Labeled OK and Cancel Print
When you click the OK box (message received), the screen disappears and the print job is completed.
When you click the Cancel Print box, the screen disappears, the print job is cancelled and you can change the cartridge before starting a new printing job.
The function of the Low Ink Warning is to provide additional information about printer status.

It provides information regarding the life of the cartridges.
It enables you to maintain optimal print quality.
It prevents you from unexpectedly running out of ink.
It will not prevent you from continuing to print.
It may appear up to 3 times.
It is then up to you to replace the cartridge.
