Hi all, Im hoping someone here has a better understanding of the Intel Mobile 4 series Express chipset than me regarding its allocated memory.
I have just upgrade the laptop from 2 to 4GB RAM for a memory hurry application and was expecting to see in the system info 4Gb installed 3.5 useable, however it states only 2.9Gb usable!!...
So I did a bit of digging around and established that 1294MB of memory is allocated for the video even though its using only 64MB.....WTF?
Does anyone know if I can get the RAM re-allocated back to the O/S?
